In short
In this two day course, you will learn to confidently and effectively add two well-tolerated treatment modalities to your paediatric toolkit! We will look at the use of standard Chinese herbal formulas for the treatment of common childhood conditions, such as coughs and colds, asthma, digestive problems, bedwetting and ADHD. You will come away confident to diagnose the patterns of imbalance and pick the correct pre-prepared herbal formula to help. We will also cover practical issues such as how to encourage children to take herbs and dosage. We will then look at the use of essential oils, according to their Chinese medicine properties, on acupuncture points. Essential oils are a really powerful and well-tolerated modality that kids love and that will enhance the effectiveness of your treatment. We will study the oils most commonly used in the paediatric clinic, including the practicalities of how to use them.
